Leather Flask: A Piece of History for Your Adventures

Leather flasks were a common part of a traveler's gear in the Middle Ages. Finds of leather vessels and water flasks date back to ancient times and are common all over the world. The shapes and volumes of the flasks varied, but they always served an important function - preserving liquids on the go.

We make our flasks by hand in our workshop, including the sewing. The traditional manufacturing process involves wet stuffing, where wheat grains are filled into the sewn shape. After drying and pouring out the wheat, the flasks are immersed in a hot bath of resin and wax, which ensures their watertightness. We personally test each flask to make sure it meets our high standards.

These flasks are fully functional and suitable for cold drinks. They are not suitable for hot, acidic and aggressive drinks or drinks with a high alcohol content. Also avoid exposing them to extreme temperatures and direct sunlight, which could lead to softening of the leather and deformation of the shape.

Durable impregnation:

Unlike ordinary flasks treated only with beeswax, our flasks undergo a special impregnation process in a mixture of resin and beeswax. Thanks to this innovative approach, we achieve significantly higher resistance of the inner seal and protect the flasks from leaks even in demanding conditions.
